Who we serve?
Therapeutic Residential Care provides a home to youth ages 13-21. All of the children MCH serves have been removed from their home due to abuse or neglect. They are placed in one of our family style homes on our campus through their social worker at Mississippi Child Protective Services.
Our homes offer a safe, secure place for youth to heal from their past and learn how to thrive and prepare for the future.
What’s different about Therapeutic Residential Care?
Each young person served on our campus has a mental health diagnosis. They have endured great amounts of trauma which often results in emotional and behavioral difficulties.
By offering safe, structured and supportive home environments, life skills training and therapeutic services, we promote healing and help children find permanent stability — emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. Our trauma-informed cognitive behavioral model of care guides practice in all of our homes and emphasizes a holistic approach to ministry.
Our homes offer a safe, secure place for youth to heal from their past and learn how to thrive and prepare for the future.
